Moonlit nights are best spent with company and what could be more inviting and relaxing for a couple than this porch swing? Originally designed long before the advent of power tools, this project is a beginning woodworker's dream.BONUS PLANS: Save more than $21 and also receive plans for our popular outdoor gliding loveseat and our rocking porch and patio loveseat!
All of the wooden slats for the seat can be precut at the lumber yard. Meanwhile, full-size patterns for the arm rest and side supports make it easy to trace these parts directly on to your wood.
The slats need only to be screwed to the side supports and the arms attached to the bench. To eliminate guesswork, the pattern clearly illustrates the exact placement of all screws and bolts.
Once the chair is complete, attach some lengths of chain or rope to the swing's sides and it's ready to hang. Hang it above a porch, from a patio roof, carport or tree. When complete, the chair is 51-inches long.
All three project plans come with a materials list, complete instructions, and plenty of illustrations to guide you throughout. Pattern No. YF-17.
