Bats and Purple Martins are known to consume an amazing number of insects. Our bat house, measuring 24-inches tall and 17-inches wide, houses up to 75 bats. Knowing that a single brown bat can consume hundreds of mosquitoes an hour, imagine what a difference 75 would make!

Best of all, bats make for great neighbors. They are very clean, will not interfere with backyard birds, and they will not be disrupted by pets or children.

The key to our projects’ success are designs that are carefully crafted to attract bats and purple martins according to their specific needs. As for construction, all our bat and birdhouse projects are easy and inexpensive to make, require just a small amount of plywood, and can often be completed with just a few hours of effort.
