You certainly won't confuse this entertainment center for a television stand.BONUS PLANS: Save more than $7 by also ordering plans for our modular shelving system as well. The plans for this project illustrate how to build a variety of shelving units, including a basic entertainment center built practically with only a hammer screwdriver, and saw.
This new unit serves a multitude of purposes. Aside from your television, there is room for a DVD, VCR, game console, CDs, DVDs, books, family treasures, and so much more.
Construction of our featured unit (pictured) has been simplified for those of us with an average selection of tools and skill. The main unit is simply a large box, and the front face is flush across the entire width so there are no tricky corners and minimal detail work. The center doors easily slide side to side to accommodate book browsing or television viewing.
The plans for both projects come with a complete materials list, cutting schedule, step-by-step instructions and illustrations to guide you throughout. Completed, the entertainment center pictured stands approximately 80-inches tall, 88-inches wide, and 24-inches deep.
