This new glass enclosed curio cabinet has an elegant design that is further enhanced by a mirrored back, and subdued interior lighting. It's different and it's fun to build.

And, as we have done with our other glass cabinets, including a six-sided version, and a corner cabinet with brass-mesh glass doors, we have taken every consideration to make this project as easy to make as it is handsome. That entailed printing the project on some oversize sheets and hence, a slightly higher cost than normal. For the resulting ease of construction, the investment is well worthwhile.

The project was also designed in two parts, allowing you to build the lower and upper halves of the cabinet separately. This accomplishes two objectives. First, it breaks the project down into two manageable tasks. Second, it lets you avoid having to work with long, six-foot lengths of wood and glass. The project can then be finished with easy to find, store bought molding.
