Mission Style Dresser
Although the Arts and Crafts school of design dates back to a century ago, the lines of this Mission-style dresser seem as fresh and vigorous today as they were then. This unit's heritage shows through in its elegant corbels and the old-style plate and ring door and drawer handles.
The dresser, which measures 44" x 21" x 53" high (112cm x 53 cm x 135 cm) also shows great common sense in how its storage space is divided. Its upper portion comprises three shelves enclosed by a door, plus four half drawers for smaller clothing such as tee shirts, socks, briefs etc. The two full-size bottom drawers are perfect for sweaters, sweat pants etc.
The plans for this project detail all you need to know to build the dresser and come with a complete materials list, step-by-step instructions and illustrations.
