The gliding rocker and ottoman differ from ordinary rocking chair sets in that the seat and the footrest are both suspended within their own frames. As a result, the two pieces glide smoothly back and forth. Talk about comfort!

For indoor use, our popular Mission design offers a look that is bold, sturdy and practical. There is no need to shop for hard-to-find hardware, and while our chair was made from oak, you can use any wood that is suitable to your own décor. Chair pads are available in many colors and styles and can be found at most furniture and department stores.

Included with all our plans are the illustrations, step-by-step instructions, and exploded diagrams you require. We also include a shopping list and cutting schedule that simplifies your work.

Both pieces for the Mission set are illustrated on one large and comprehensive pattern. As a result, the cost of the plan is slightly higher than usual but we think you'll find the pattern's ease of use and the chair's comfort well worth it!
