The only "childish" thing about this desk is that we have slightly downsized its width and depth from that of a full-sized office unit, so that it is more user friendly for a smaller person; at 51" (130 cm) wide x 26" (66 cm) deep, the working surface is more than adequate. Its smaller dimensions also make it easier to fit into a bedroom or den without dominating the room or sacrificing utility.

Made of oak, and of groove-and-panel construction, this is a piece of furniture which pleases the eye while being functional; it incorporates one file-sized drawer and two smaller units, and also has an elegantly curved back rail.
