Compost Crib
Composting is nature's way of helping to renew plant life. The accumulation and decomposition of dead vegetable matter results in a rich humus in which plants thrive, without the need for artificial fertilizer. The further good news is that you can make your own compost quickly and easily by recycling grass clippings, weeds, etc. from your garden, and also appropriate kitchen scraps in this simply-constructed crib which will fit into any handy corner of your garden.
The unit shown provides approximately 27 cu ft (0.7cu m) of storage capacity. This may seem small, but an efficient composting system rapidly reduces the volume of the material input. If you have a large property you can of course upgrade the crib’s dimensions.
