This kit contains plans 5029 and 5030 - Adirondack Set - This Adirondack / Muskoka / Western patio set has always been one of our most popular and enduring projects. The chair is a classic, is often associated with pricey summer resorts, and is equally at home around the pool, on the porch or at the cottage.

The footrest and the matching table nicely round out the set. Together, the three pieces make for great weekend projects that, when finished, will be enjoyed for many years to come.

The chair itself is known to be one of the most comfortable ever designed with good support for your back and a seat that is angled so your feet rest easily on the ground. The footstool adds another element of comfort, and with the table by your side, cool drinks, books and suntan lotion will always be within reach.

Our set was made from clear pine and was stained with a natural-color finish. However, you can paint your set white for that cool, comfortable look, or you may decide to use a wood like western cedar that weathers gracefully all on its own.

The plans for all three pieces are drawn to full-size with the chair on one pattern and the table and footrest, together on a second (and hence, the slightly higher price). Each pattern has a materials list and instructions that guide you through the simple tasks of tracing, sawing and assembling. Pattern No. 5029.
