Since 1939, the comic-book hero Batman has captivated the imagination of young minds around the world. The stories featured a supporting cast of colourful characters, and an impressive array of crime-fighting gadgets. Perhaps the most memorable of these was the sleek Batmobile. Now your super child or grandchild can speed off to sleep in this authentic-looking Bat Car Bed!

The finished project uses a twin-size mattress, and takes up 106" (2.69 m) floor space in length. There is a clever storage area at the front of the car that is over 3' (0.9 m) wide, 13" (33 cm) deep at the deep end, and 4.5" (11.5 cm) at the shallow end. At the back of the car bed, there is an open upper shelf, and a small lower shelf area is 6.5" (16.5 cm) high by 40" (101.5 cm) wide.
