This new project has three eye-catching features that grab everyone’s attention. The backrest is easily and intricately designed with a scroll saw pattern depicting the rugged and wild outdoors near Bear Ridge, at the foot of the Rockies. Along the front face of the seat are the engraved etchings of the abundant fish in the stream nearby, and the trees that surround it. Perched atop the backrest, keeping watch from on high, is an ever present hawk.

As elaborate as it looks, this project is incredibly easy to tackle with full-size plans that you can transfer directly on to your wood. You can also complete the set with plans for a single chair, coffee and end table.

Largely drawn to full-size, the pattern for the bench required numerous sheets of blueprint size paper (and hence, a slightly higher cost than normal) to be certain that all you need to know is contained in one complete and easy to follow package. For the resulting ease of construction, the extra investment is well worthwhile.
